Why It Matters
This action-oriented summit focuses on a complete, end-to-end housing value chain—from sustainably harvested timber on First Nations territories, through Indigenous-owned or aligned forestry, milling, manufacturing, and construction businesses, and back into community housing. Guided by Indigenous values, the summit aligns partners, capital, and policy pathways to enable Nations to lead housing delivery on their own terms.
The goal: to create Nation-led pathways that connect land and resources to housing, jobs, and long-term economic self-determination.
