Why It Matters

This action-oriented summit focuses on a complete, end-to-end housing value chain—from sustainably harvested timber on First Nations territories, through Indigenous-owned or aligned forestry, milling, manufacturing, and construction businesses, and back into community housing. Guided by Indigenous values, the summit aligns partners, capital, and policy pathways to enable Nations to lead housing delivery on their own terms.

The goal: to create Nation-led pathways that connect land and resources to housing, jobs, and long-term economic self-determination.

Who Should Attend

  • First Nations leadership exploring housing and economic development strategies

  • Forest tenure holders and Indigenous-owned forestry companies

  • Manufacturers and modular housing providers committed to Indigenous partnerships

  • Construction firms and contractors working in community housing

  • Housing authorities and not-for-profits serving Indigenous communities

  • Entrepreneurs and investors interested in Indigenous-led housing and economic opportunities

Why Attend

Attendees will gain insight, connections, and tools to:

  • Drive economic self-determination through ownership and participation across the housing value chain

  • Achieve economies of scale by coordinating housing demand and delivery models

  • Deliver better housing: culturally responsive, energy-efficient homes that build long-term assets
